Somebody pinch me!

I absolutely cannot believe that this time next week, my second book will be released and out into the world for y’all to enjoy.

Actually, I had to pause for a moment as the feeling of wonderment rocked through my body. Growing up, I never thought of myself as a writer or even aspired to write books at all.

I remember my childhood summers when I would make up complicated stories for my barbie dolls and play them out over the months, just like a soap opera. But back then, I didn’t make a connection between creating those stories and trying to put them into books for others to enjoy.

Now, I’m so excited to have two books of my own about to be published with more to come!

The best part of it all is that I’m having a blast writing them and entertaining myself.

I hope I’m giving you guys a little entertainment too 🙂

And … just in case you didn’t get a chance to read the excerpt, click on the cover below to get a sneak peek of The Relentless Hero.

After barely escaping with her life in the search for a murderer, Mena Nix is relieved to leave the tropical paradise of St. Basil behind to pursue a Fellowship at a prominent museum in Kenya. She has everything she ever wanted—a prestigious job, and Julian Montgomery, the love of her life by her side. But secrets from her past lurk, conspiring to destroy the new life she’s built for herself.

Determined to sacrifice whatever it takes to be with Mena, Julian walks away from his own career opportunity just as terrorists attack the museum where Mena works. Racing through the streets of Nairobi, Julian encounters pandemonium as he approaches the burned-out shell of the building. Bodies are piling up, and Mena’s nowhere to be found.

With the help of his new friends and an old foe, Julian discovers that Mena has been kidnapped by one of the most ruthless criminals in Africa.

Can Julian outwit the diabolical mercenary and rescue the woman he loves before it’s too late? Or will the secrets Mena has been harboring cost them their chance to be together and their lives?
