In Episode 56, I find out that the narrator has agreed to do the audiobook and it’s time to sign contracts. One problem. I have clunky sentences in the book that sound awful when read aloud. In this episode, I talk about the evolution of my writing and what I did to try to fix my book before sending it to the narrator.

Author’s Diary Vlog with Angel Vane | Episode 53

While working on Book 3 of the Hero in Paradise Series, The Fallen Hero, I hit a snag when I kept introducing new characters but couldn’t figure out how to make them interact with my main characters, Julian and Mena. Last week I discussed using personality assessments to understand my characters. In Episode 53, I talk about delving into what motivates characters and how that helps to make more interesting scenes. I also give insight into the motivation of Julian and Mena as well as secondary characters from The Accidental Hero, Dawn, and Kendrick.
